The Money Game

One of the reason you hesitate is because of fear of failure. I know that is common in human nature. I mean who wants to fail at anything? No one. Everyone wants to go out there, give it their best and walk away winning. But life isn’t made that way. Fear has often been your bedfellow. Fear has kept you from accomplishing many great feats in life. Some were even small, but fear made them look enormous.

And this is why you’re here, facing and overcoming your fears. And the best part is you can get over your fears of failure. IBM former chairman Thomas John Watson, Sr once quoted;

“If you want to succeed, double your failure rate.” He also said beautifully, “Follow the path of the unsafe, independent thinker. Expose your ideas to the danger of controversy. Speak your mind and fear less the label of “crackpot” than the stigma of conformity.”

It is human nature to fear, it is also human nature to go against the grain and become extraordinary. In spite of the internal fears and doubts and the outside hecklers who does nothing but call you names.

Fear is no longer my bedfellow nor is it yours. I say take whatever chance you have been giving. Do whatever that has been placed in your hands. Act on that idea that has been in your head. It’s time to double your rate of failure so you can succeed.

At your service,
